It was my Birthday last month! And of course I had to celebrate. Together with a friend (a true genius), I met up for making up a story for a Murder Mystery. It took us 5 hours of thinking and drinking red wine and rum but in the end we had the story, the suspects, the murderer, the motive, the crime scene and the clues.
After everything was planned, I sent out the necessary information to each of my guests (i.e. 20 individual emails) and prepared all the other stuff like drinks and food. And then the party started. It was so much fun to watch my friends, how they tried to figure everything out. Everybody was talking to each other (as intended) and people also tried to confuse each other by trying to mislead them.
After the mystery was solved (the French guy did it, because of drugs) we kept on celebrating until my neighbours complained about all the noise (well, he waited till 4am in the morning, so I guess that’s alright). Next day was dedicated to cleaning and making peace with the neighbours (and bribing them with wine….).
