Trouble’s just the bits in between!
The Rainbow Panorama
Well, let’s start with some pretty pictures. A couple of weeks ago, a new installation opened on top of the museum of modern art, ARoS. Olafur Eliasson, an Iclandic/Danish artist, is behind this absolutely amazing piece.

Uhm, hallo?!
So, I haven’t been on here for a LONG time. Lot’s of stuff has happened. I have a new job, I was travelling, I’m back at my renovated flat – after not running for a long time I’m also back into that. Maybe I should update things on here again? Well, I’ll give it a try. See you around.
Party planning
It was my birthday this week and tomorrow some friends are coming over for food, drinks, laughing, dancing, talking and other fun activities. It’ll just be relaxed, so no crime solving this time :). This time, however, I’ll do some more cooking. I found a bunch of recipes for finger food and I’m looking forward to doing some cooking…love cooking for friends :). Maria and Bernat will be coming from Aalborg and staying for the weekend, too, and I’m really looking forward to that, because I don’t get to see them so often. So, happy weekend is ahead :).
I also have to do the last preparations for next week at work. A group of German consultants is visiting us and I did all the planning. There’ll be all sorts of presentations and we’ll be visiting a plant nursery (will be my first time!) and a dairy farm (so happy I got some wellies :)). They’ll only be here for 1½ days but it’s a packed programme. I need to finish some translations and then everything is ready.
Well, I have to do some food shopping now…can’t have hungry guests tomorrow ;).
PS: Yesterday, I saw a hair dresser in the Danish city of Horsens. It was called “Final Cut”. And situated next to a graveyard. Hmmmm…..

I’m back online!
Wow, after more than a month, my internet provider finally managed to connect me to the internet again. Well done Telia. It was a hard and long process, with a lot of strange emails from you (and one parcel), but now everything is working.
I was at another race as well, this time I almost had a decent time. I was 3.5min faster than in the first race. Not bad. I also started cycling to work again and I think that helps as well. The cycling is still quite tough, 8K up the hill, and it’s still so cold in the morning that I’m using skiing gloves. But the only real problem is that in the morning there’s still quite a bit of ice on the bike paths, so I don’t really dare to cycle very fast down the hill. I already fell once (but managed to land on my feet!). But all the snow is soon gone so it only can get better :).
Have a great weekend :)
New flat, snow, running (or not)…
So, last week I moved into a new apartment. I’m only staying there while my “real” place is being completely renovated. I’m getting a new kitchen and bathroom, new windows, they’ll put in new piping and will renew the antique electricity cables. The move went smoothly, this was the first time I had professional movers doing it (I don’t have to pay for it…). They really did a great job, and there were some difficult and many heavy items, so that really was a relief.
The new place is a bit smaller than the other but quite cute. The only problem I have at the moment, is that Telia needs 30 (!!!) days to move my internet connection. How can this take so much time? 30 days?? Really don’t get it. I mean, yes I have internet at work, but there’s so many things that we do over the internet nowadays, it’s essential (e.g. my taxes…yes, we do this online in DK).
As for the running? That is not going too well. We had a snow storm again on Tuesday (it was so bad that I left work early, which was good, as there wasn’t any transport later on…). All this snow and ice really makes it difficult to get out. I mean, at the moment I’m actually motivated. But there’s no way that I’ll go out and running on icy foot paths. I really don’t need any broken bones. Let’s hope that the snow will disappear soon, so that I can run regularly again. That would be nice.
